Wireless or Corded Keyboard & Mouse? Which Is Better?
Should I get corded or wireless peripherals?
Whilst wireless keyboards and mice are generally a little more expensive, they offer the benefit of a wire (cord) free setup. Unless you intend to relocate your computer regularly, having the keyboard connected by cord may not matter a great deal.
A mouse however requires a range of movement and a wireless option clearly provides the benefits of eliminating cord tangles and the associated inhibited movement.
In early generation wireless devices (which used IR to communicate with the computer) would suffer from delay (lag) to the computer resulting in slow response time, since then technology has advanced to the point where this delay is now completely nonexistant. (Generally the response time is less than 1ms)
